Founded in 2005, Loop of the Loom is an artistic community and fiber arts studio. They facilitate daily weaving classes on a saori loom, teaching the principles of saori weaving. Saori is a Japanese contemporary practice of weaving that uses the loom as an artistic tool of self expression. Loop of the Loom focuses on the individuality of humans and the beauty of the handmade. Their brick and mortar studios welcomes saori weavers of all ages and abilities to make art, as well as exhibit their works. They have an on-site and online store where you can purchase fiber arts tools and materials.
