Next First Thursday:
October 1

On the first Thursday of every month, DUMBO’s galleries stay open late for a night of art, gallery openings, artist talks, and live performance. Visitors enjoy incredible views of the East River and the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges as they walk along the waterfront from one gallery to the next and can enjoy local drink specials at DUMBO stalwart Superfine. Free and open to the public!
To celebrate the start of the new DUMBO art season, Art in DUMBO and Team DUMBO present the first-ever DUMBO Projection Walk!
The Projection Walk will take participants on a visual journey along the waterfront and cobblestones from Smack Mellon to the art galleries at Jay Street, with more than a dozen projections. The First Thursday tradition continues and DUMBO galleries will stay open from 6pm-8pm where visitors are welcome to explore the exhibitions throughout the neighborhood.
Join the tour or choose you own adventure!
In addition to the Projection Walk and open galleries, the evening will conclude with an After-Party in the Dumbo Archway for Dumbo’s creative community, with drinks by Smorgasburg and featuring long-time friend of Dumbo, Nickodemus, in an all-vinyl DJ set, paired with live saxophone and live percussion. The party kicks off at 8pm with a free drink to the first 100 partygoers. Additional drinks + snacks for sale from the Dumbo Archway Bar.
Registration requested. All are welcome.
