Romina Chuls in Conversation with Laura Harris
Via Zoom In conjunction with her exhibition La Cosecha (The Harvest), 2025-2026 A.I.R. Fellow Romina Chuls will be in conversation with Laura Harris. In this talk, Chuls will discuss La Cosecha, focusing on how it draws on the iconography of a pre-Hispanic funerary textile to imagine a cycle of shared gestation, care, and renewal. NowHere Open Studios: Maiko Kikuchi
The NowHere Studio Program is a year-long Dumbo residency, launched January 2024, that gives one selected artist a studio before culminating in a solo exhibition at NowHere's Tribeca flagship. This year's resident is Maiko Kikuchi, a Tokyo-born, NYC-based multidisciplinary artist and Pratt MFA whose surreal, handcrafted work spans illustration, sculpture, puppetry, and performance at venues like the Met, The Public Theater, Japan Society, and La MaMa.
