Closing Reception

For the first time outside Japan, the weavers of Ako Gabbeh present hand-knotted Gabbeh and Dantsu works that carry forward a craft tradition inherited from the nomadic peoples of the Silk Road, transformed through Japan’s own culture and environment, and passed down through generations.
