Errant Grammars

Stump Gallery is pleased to present a collaborative exhibition with Nigeria-based gallery DADA Gallery. Errant Grammars brings together Blossom Oyeyipo, Corinne Slade, Louise Hapton, Austin Uzor, and Paul Majek in an exploration of misrecognition, memory, displacement, and the instability of categories through painting, sculpture, and mixed media. The exhibition considers how familiar forms; bodies, landscapes, flowers, objects, and memories, can be reimagined to suggest alternative emotional and psychological realities.
