COVID–19 and the DUMBO Arts Community

March 24, 2020

The operation of arts organizations, bookstores, galleries, showrooms, and other DUMBO mainstays is being affected by the COVID–19 crisis.

Governor Cuomo recently mandated that all non-essential gatherings in New York be canceled or postponed to limit the spread of COVID–19. In addition, workers who provide non-essential services are currently required to stay home.

To get in touch with an arts-related business or organization in DUMBO at this difficult time, visit our Arts + Community page to find their website and contact information. We also encourage you to follow these members of the DUMBO arts community on social media to engage with them remotely in the weeks to come.

Additionally, the DUMBO BID has compiled a helpful resource for residents, visitors, businesses, and others in the neighborhood.

Be safe and stay healthy.
