Pearl Street Triangle. Anchorage, Pearl, and Water Streets
PST is a large-scale painting that takes the Pearl Street Triangle as its canvas. Painted over the course of five days, the artist, David Ellis, improvised the design as he added new layers each day to achieve the final image. Recorded with stop motion photography from the tops of nearby buildings by over the course of its five-day-long installation, a time-lapse video of PST’s creation constitutes a final motion painting of the work.
