Twenty-Five Years of the Fellowship Program: A Benefit for A.I.R. Gallery Honoring Stephanie Bernheim
November 4, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
155 Plymouth Street
Brooklyn, NY 11201 United States
The A.I.R. Fellowship Program was established in 1993 by former NY Artist Member, Stephanie Bernheim, in order to support underrepresented and emerging self-identified women artists in New York City. Over the past twenty-five years, the Fellowship Program has helped over 92 artists develop and exhibit a project at A.I.R.
Please join us for an intimate dinner honoring Bernheim and the Fellowship Program on Monday, November 4th. Let us celebrate all that we’ve accomplished thus far and look ahead to the future of the Fellowship Program!
Bernheim’s exhibitions in galleries and museums include: Trisha Collin’s Grand Salon, Barbara Mathes Gallery, A.I.R. Gallery, P.S.1 Museum in Long Island City, Franklin Furnace, Art Resources Transfer, Inc., The Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, The Milwaukee Museum, The Metropolitan Museum, The Princeton Museum. Her work is in many public and private collections. Bernheim graduated from Sarah Lawrence College (B.A.) and New York University (M.A.) where she studied with Milton Resnick and Ad Reinhardt. She is a native New Yorker.
