Drawing on a variety of imagery ranging from Modern art to paper dolls to the iconography of Mayan, Aboriginal, and Native American art, Eleanor Kupencow’s paintings and sculpture depict colorful faces, figures, and animals. Six of her Fun Seetz—sculptures for sitting, reclining, and climbing—are permanently installed at a pedestrian plaza on Old Fulton Street in DUMBO.
